During a Youth Revival held in Cold Spring, KY in 1986, Lonnie met Amy (Helton). They corresponded and dated long distance (900 miles) for a year and then were married in November of 1987. They moved to Olathe, KS where Lonnie pursued his education to fulfill God's call to ministry.
He graduated from Mid-America Nazarene University with a Bachelor's degree in Christian Education. He has since done some post-Bachelor's work at Northern Kentucky University.
After serving in Desert Storm with the United States Army, he became a Youth Pastor in Highland Heights, KY and served in this capacity for four years. Lonnie and Amy then hosted an in-home ministry for two years before becoming the Associate Pastor at Covington First Church of the Nazarene in Northern Kentucky.
In 2005, the Blosser family was called to Tucson, Arizona where Lonnie took his first Lead Pastor position at Tucson Central Church of the Nazarene. Five years later, in 2010, the Blosser family was called here to The Refinery Church of the Nazarene where they currently pastor.
God has blessed Lonnie and Amy with four great children: Brandon, Nikole, Whitney and Courtney ("The twins"). The current grandchild count is four with hopefully more in the future!
In personal time, Lonnie loves God, loves golf, playing racquetball with Amy and playing with the kids and grandkids.

MEET THE STAFF
We are thankful for our staff at The Refinery because they are part of our hands and feet that make daily and weekly things happen in ministry that need to happen in the life of the church. They are also some of our first-responders to the needs of people inside and outside of our church. Their hearts are willing and focused to serve God so they can serve you. They are great contacts if you have a spiritual need that you need prayer for or someone to talk to.
